- U8 to U16 play a single round robin. Women play a double round robin.

Rules of play
Standard 5-a-side and 7-a-side laws apply, with the league rules below. Where they differ, the league rules take priority.
- U8 play 5v5: one 7-a-side pitch is split into three 5-a-side pitches. U10, U12, U14, U16 and Women play 7v7.
- Unlimited substitutions, made at the halfway line with the referee's permission.
- Players must wear football boots and shin pads. No shin pads, no play.
- Jewellery and dangerous accessories must be removed before playing.
- The referee's decision is final.
- Coaches and substitutes stay in their technical area and may not enter the pitch without the referee's permission.
- Only registered, eligible players may play.
- Respect referees, players, coaches and spectators at all times.
- Throw ins apply in all age groups. No offside in any age group.
- All free kicks are direct.
- Goalkeepers may use hands or feet after catching a live ball, and must restart with their feet from a dead ball.
- No direct shot on goal from a kick off.
Balance rule
If a team leads by 4 goals or more, the trailing team may add one extra player, plus one more for each further 2 goal gap. If the gap drops back below the limit, the extra player leaves the pitch.
Example: at 6-0 the trailing team plays with 2 extra players. If they score (6-1, a 5 goal gap), one extra player leaves.
Awards
Each age group has three awards at the end of the season: Cup winner (league champion), MVP award (best player) and Golden Glove (best goalkeeper). Every participating player receives a medal. Individual awards are decided by a vote of the Steering Committee.
Steering Committee
Every registered team gets one seat on the Steering Committee for the following season, giving clubs a direct voice in planning, rules, fixtures and regulations. Each team nominates one representative; the seat belongs to the team or club, not to an individual. The league will share the committee structure, meeting dates and voting process before the new season starts.
